  This has to be, it is, the best course in the Richmond area and perhaps the entire state. It's scenic, beautiful, quiet, peaceful and one tough test of your golfing skills. All the greens are well protected and demand a quality shot or you won't have a chance to hit them. Once on the green your shot must have been played into the correct location or you'll have no chance, none! The greens are extremely fast (I cant really relate it to you),but my five three putts were not a surprise. If you have a down hill putt you either make it (not likely) or have a 15 foot or more putt from the fringe coming back.
  
  I cannot make enough positive comments about this course. It's a fully focused golf club. It's not a country club, it's a club for golfers who love the game. Yes it's totally private, but if you ever have a chance to pay it don't miss out.
